The Vision
Small and mid-sized cities often struggle to launch smart technology projects, facing two major obstacles: connecting with the right service providers and securing the funding needed to make these projects real. This creates delays, higher costs, and missed opportunities for residents. Cities need a way to easily scope projects, get instant estimates, connect with leading technology providers, and line up funding—all in one place, rather than navigating fragmented processes that can take months just to get a proposal.
Our Approach
We partnered with Smart City Marketplace to design and launch a platform that brings all the moving pieces together. We built a City Project Builder with a guided workflow where municipalities can select use cases like smart lighting, EV charging, smart corridors, parking, and connectivity. We implemented automated cost calculations based on supplier data so cities know what to expect before they even talk to vendors. We created direct connection to vetted global service providers who can deliver the technology and infrastructure, and built-in pathways to connect with capital partners, reducing friction in getting projects approved and funded. We developed a scalable web-based system designed to handle projects of all sizes, from small pilots to city-wide rollouts.
